We are a homegrown organization, comprised completely of family members, so far. Four kids(aged 5-11) and two adults(not telling our ages) makes for a good start. When asked to design the logo, all four of our children jumped into gear, each contributing a different element you see pictured here for our final logo.
Making a difference in our neighborhood began about a year ago when we started the town’s first book box, unsure how it would be received. A year later, the book box has evolved into not just a book exchange but a place neighbors and friends of the neighborhood can go for comfort. Along with the original spaces there are now additionally developed spaces for other offerings such as clothing, packaged food and toys.
Like the book exchange, BetterHood is moving in the right direction having already made an impact during the recent Covid-19 pandemic. We will continue to surge on looking for ways to help the ones closest to us. add another page.
